Among the many good things the Church Synod is teaching us is also "spiritual communication." It is a simple method of dialogue that facilitates our willingness to listen to each other and to the Other in order to reach, in sharing, common conclusions.
We have been using it as an assembly body since the first day of actual work and today we have taken it up again to address the topic of "strong calls." "Strong calls" are, in fact, the responses that all the ASCs of the congregation gave to the questions delivered by the preparatory commission to the communities. They became part of the Working Document that all AG members have had in their hands for some time and which we have been studying today.
At first each of us took time to reflect personally, asking God for the gift of the Holy Spirit of wisdom and life. Afterwards, we met at the work tables to listen carefully to each other and to hear what God wants to suggest beyond our stream of words. The sharing of the groups in the hall and further interventions of the Sisters, allow us to understand that we are living an opportune time of Grace in which we are not left alone by the one who guides the times and history.
We want to remain open, to free the heart from fears and corruption to place it, docile and pure, in God's hands.
